Refund Policy

Effective 1 October 2026. Instruction Manual Maker subscriptions are sold by Paddle.com Market Limited and its affiliates ("Paddle") as merchant of record. Your purchase is therefore governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and Paddle's Refund Policy, which this page summarises. Where the two differ, Paddle's policy applies.

Try before you buy

The 30-day free trial requires no payment details, so you can confirm the Software does what you need before any money changes hands. Because of this, subscription payments are generally non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except as set out below.

Your statutory rights

Consumers in some countries have a legal right to cancel a purchase within a set period. Under Paddle's terms this includes a 14-day right of withdrawal in the European Union, the EEA, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, and a 7-day right to cancel in Canada, among others. These rights may not apply once you have started downloading, installing or using the Software within that period. Nothing in this policy limits rights that the law of your country gives you.

Refunds at Paddle's discretion

Beyond statutory rights, Paddle may issue a refund at its discretion if you request it within 14 days of the transaction date, for example where a material defect prevents you from using the Software as described or a technical problem stops you from accessing it. Refunds are not normally given for a change of mind after the Software has been used, for subscription renewal payments, or where there is evidence of fraud or refund abuse. If a fault on our side stops you using the Software, contact us and we will work with Paddle to put it right.

Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel at any time from the link in any Paddle receipt or invoice, through paddle.net, or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for and prevents any further payments; the Software keeps working until then. To avoid being charged for a renewal, cancel before the renewal date.

How to request a refund

Go to paddle.net and choose "Request refund", or use the support link in your receipt. You can also write to Paddle at help@paddle.com, or to us at support@instructionmanualmaker.com and we will pass the request on. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 14 days of approval.

Trials

Trials are free and require no payment, so there is nothing to refund. When a trial ends the Software simply stops opening until you subscribe; your manuals and models are not deleted.
